The Hospice of Dubuque Interdisciplinary Team is comprised of:

  • the patient's physician 
  • the medical director 
  • registered nurses 
  • medical social workers
  • spiritual care coordinator
  • massage therapist
  • music therapist
  • physical, occupational and speech therapists
  • registered dietitian
  • pharmacist
  • hospice aides 
  • volunteer coordinator
  • community liaisons 
  • administrative staff
  • specially educated community volunteers

My brother, Dave, and I were so fortunate in being able to care for our mother in her home until her death. Beyond the skill of the nurses and aides, it was the spirit of their mission—the compassion—which touched us most. Though we only worked with Hospice for a limited number of days, all the staff was caring, compassionate and faithfilled. We feel blessed by their service.
