Community Education
Hospice of Dubuque has a responsibility to provide education to individuals, groups and organizations. We are willing to provide educational presentations on hospice care, history and services. Presentations are offered at no cost and can be scheduled at your convenience.

When Iowa City had no more hope for Dave, all he wanted to do was go home to be with his boys and die. I never hesitated to make that wish come true. He was told he had only one to two weeks to live, but through the grace of God, the prayers of many and the wonderful care and support of Hospice of Dubuque, we were blessed with twelve weeks. Because of Hospice, I was given the confidence to care for Dave and he was given the courage and dignity to accept what was happening to him and make the most of our time together.
