This dedicated group of community volunteers share their Irish heritage with a day filled with music, food, dance, merriment and fun. Hospice of Dubuque is honored to receive a portion of the proceeds from this exciting annual tradition. Mark your calendars for August 28, 2010, to be part of this year's exciting event.

When Iowa City had no more hope for Dave, all he wanted to do was go home to be with his boys and die. I never hesitated to make that wish come true. He was told he had only one to two weeks to live, but through the grace of God, the prayers of many and the wonderful care and support of Hospice of Dubuque, we were blessed with twelve weeks. Because of Hospice, I was given the confidence to care for Dave and he was given the courage and dignity to accept what was happening to him and make the most of our time together.
